When we think of communication the first thing that comes to our mind is Smartphones and various apps that it carries.With social media as the new weapon of interaction, communication has taken a new dimension altogether. Social media is expanding in leaps and bounds each year.
Some analysts attribute the amazing rise of internet technology and its speed from 3g to 4g and now the next gen 5g.
Social media and Apps have risen show sharply that it has put a tremendous pressure on families and friends.
Everybody needs ‘likes’ and 'shares 'for every photo and text they put.
Bunch of friends in online life but none in real life
But is communication through social media brings us closer to one another? Will social media bring us closer together? You may say it does. But does it bring us closer in real sense?A communication method where one hides behind the screen and sending messages is not a real communication et al.
Could it be that social media is thriving because people are really scared to pick up the phone and talk to each other?
At times all we want is to avoid all forms of communication be it social media or direct communication because we don’t have the skill. We are scared!

Lack of communication in family.
Many families have misunderstandings due to the knack of communication and the grace to listen. Many families break-up due to absence of proper communication!
Communication has two sides!
Speaking or talking is not the only thing which comprises communication! It has other side as well! And what is that other side!? It’s LISTENING! Listening is as much of an integral part of communication as much as speaking and talking does!
Communications is also receiving the words of others! The other important aspect of communication is patience! Patience plays an important role in communication. The more patience you have the better communicator you will be!
Many a time we get angry due to lack of communication and we shout to the other person.
According to some psychologists, the reason why we shout is because when we are angry; we subconsciously think that the other person is far away from us and hence, we shout.
How does the bible help you to be a better communicator?!
Bible can certainly help us to be a better communicator. It has helped me and others! In the bible we come across the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost.
This Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost can help us to be a better communicator without the help of any psychologists. But this help entirely depends on how much faith you have in Jesus and in the Holy Trinity.
Holy Spirit is the third person in the Holy trinity – The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit – One God! Holy Spirit descended on the apostles on the day of Pentecost and we celebrate that festival.
A brief history of Pentecost.
Pentecost is coming of the Holy Spirit. Penta in Greek means 50. So it is 50 days. The Pentecost is calculated from the day of Easter.
On Pentecost the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost descended on the apostles. If Christmas is birthday of Jesus Christ, then Pentecost is considered as the birthday of the Holy Church.

Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost in the scriptures is known in different words. Jesus himself when talking about the Holy Spirit says I will send you a councillor or an advocate, a friend, a guide to be all along with you. The Holy Spirit also depicted in the image of a dove and fire.
Holy Spirit and Communication Skills
After the death of Jesus the apostles were scared as the crowd wanted to attack them. They didn’t know what to do.
They were like sheep without a shepherd. They huddled in a small hall and would pray reverently to Jesus.
As promised by Jesus he sent the Holy Spirit unto the apostles. At once they were filled with courage. They could speak in many languages.
They kicked the hall door open came and started talking about Jesus boldly to the crowd. Many people had come from different places and countries and had gathered there. The wondered how the apostles managed to get so much courage.
Little did they know that they were filled with Holy Spirit! When they spoke every person present there heard them in their own native language or mother tongue.
They were astonished! That’s the power of Holy Spirit and that is exactly we are seeking today. We want that power, that Holy Spirit too!
How do I get Holy Spirit?
We have our own spirit in our body and without the spirit our body is only a material body. We don’t know where the spirit lives in our body.
Does it live in our blood, in our heart or in our mind? We don’t know for sure. With just our spirit we are unable to achieve much. It needs divine help.
Without the divine help or interaction it’s impossible to achieve anything in this life. Live alone communication!
So how do we get Holy Spirit? Well it’s quite simple. Just believe in Jesus and follow is commandments.
How does the Holy Spirit work?
The presence of Holy Spirit is everywhere and in you as well. The Holy Spirit which is in you in your heart what is wrong and what is right.
Based on this information you can surely change your life gradually. You need to ask Holy Spirit for help in every decision you make.
Pray to Holy Spirit before you start your day and before you do any work.
Holy Spirit works in quite places too. There is no need to raise your hands and pray or give praises in loud voice.
But you can go ahead if you like to pray that way. Holy Spirit reads your mind and is there in you always and forever.
